Join us for a relaxing hour with the horses! This is a time to decompress from the daily grind, and observe and interact with the horses, share refreshments, unwind with music and chat with other horse-lovers!

An interactive 1-hr session to learn the helpful skills needed to handle horses. This is an unmounted class.
Each session will cover a different topic - sign up for as many as you like. Included topics will be: Haltering and leading essentials, Grooming, ground work, saddles and how to fit them, basic first aid and when to call a vet, what to feed and why, and more!Each class must have 3 paid advance reservations to be held. Expected schedule will be Saturdays at 4pm.
Basic Horsemanship series for kids, age 5-12, $120/person
4 interactive 1-hr sessions for kids to learn helpful skills and knowledge about horses. These are all unmounted classes.
Each session will cover a different topic - one class per week for 4 weeks. Included topics will be: All about horses - breeds, colors, parts, types of riding, and tack., and more! Also, sessions will progress to haltering and leading essentials, Grooming, ground work, putting on tack, taking care of tack.Classes must have 3 paid advance reservations to be held. Schedule can be somewhat customized to those who sign up!
Horse-Powered reading - Coming Spring 2025
A new type of horse-assisted learning for anyone challenged by learning to read. Helps focus and retention, and makes learning to read fun! We will be going through the certification process, and planning classes for next Spring!
